Greetings friends and partners of Kingswood Community Center,

It is indeed an honor and pleasure to have been selected as the new Executive Director of Kingswood Community Center, Incorporated. As the newly appointed leader of the organization, I welcome the opportunity to present the “Contemporary Kingswood” and provide you with an overview of our plans to advance the agency’s 69 year historical legacy to the next level of development. As an organization that has always been interested in education and workforce investment issues that affect our community, Kingswood Community Center has created a rich history in which thousands of youth and families have passed through our doors who were challenged, brave and inspiring.

 

There has been 69 years of great success, even during challenging seasons, and yet Kingswood continues to provide quality services to the residents in the community.  Despite the challenges and obstacles due the recent economic downturn, Kingswood has beat the odds and now is developing a strategy and plan to keep Kingswood a beacon of hope and opportunity for residents throughout the Northeast and surrounding communities for another 69 years. We are so proud of Kingswood Community Center’s accomplishments and the impact it has had on our constituents since its inception.  In order to do more, we are stepping up our responsibilities for inspiring our next generation of leaders and change agents. 

 

With over 30 years as an Educator and Human Service Practitioner in the field of human services, I am dedicated and committed to ensure that Kingswood Community Center is one of the best Social Service Agencies in the city, and an outstanding organization in our community, through quality staff, facilities and programs, supported by financial stability and clearly defined standards.
